We actually did that once (minus the serious literacy thing). Was pretty fun! Though short-lived.

I don't think I've ever had a character with a terribly tragic backstory. At least I've never framed it like that. It sounded more like just a fact than Oh...I have suffered terribly. |

I already responded to this, but now I have this idea for this tol lanky purple Alien lady OC with really long eyelashes. Hmm... Maybe I should bring back my old Alien species, but revamp it. :P That also reminded me I have another Alien species I still need to finish... frick.

I've made a character who was bullied a lot as a kid, but to even it out he has a good family life with protective older brothers, and I don't make it his whole personality when RPing with him. |
