Amelia is a very shy horse. But will be brave if it has to do with the herd. She keeps her emotions hidden from others and never shows them. She is a very clever horse and can solve problems.

Humans, fireworks, and fires scare Amelia. She gets scared when she hears fireworks but wonders where the color comes from in the sky when they are started.

A few months after she was born her mother was taken from her by humans. This caused her to almost die but she held on. She was taken in by a kind 20 year old mare that died a couple years later. She thought the world hated her because everyone who she thought of as a mother had died. This caused her to bottle her emotions up and never show them. She does love the herd but it isn't that kind of love that love that can never be replaced again.
