Inessa is a small, dainty creature. She's a being that sits in the height range of a pony, being only a little taller than 14 hands high. Compared to a lot of the herd members, the Lead Stallion and Lieutenant included, she's practically a dwarf, and most definitely one of the smallest horses in the herd. She is of a slim, almost delicate frame. She has a small, feminine face, with petite legs and shoulders, and a stance that only makes her seem even more fragile than before. She does very little to remove this dainty, feminine aura, allowing it to craft her position into one of sweetness and gentleness.
Inessa's pelt is that of a blue roan variation. Her legs are a black hue, the same with her mane and tail, being significantly darker than the soft grey-blue that the rest of her body is. Her fur isn't exactly sleek or shiny, more a creature on the fluffier side. In winter, it's a blessing to be warmer than other members of the herd, in summer, it can be a curse to have a naturally thicker coat, even if it's only slightly. But, in terms of appearance, it just makes her seem even softer, more delicate, something to be handled with care and gentleness.
The eyes of the mare are a shade of deep brown, rich and full of kindness, expressing her emotions in a way that even her expressive face struggles to. Her scent is a warm, lovely mixture of wildflowers, trailing after her with a soft fragrence that fits the rest of her.
Personality:
Inessa is, quite possibly, the definition of gentle and kind. She's a creature built on the traits of selflessness and care, always putting another above herself and offering them nothing but courtesy. She could detest you, hate everything about you, but unless you've done something to harm those she cares for, she'll treat you with the respect that all living creatures have earned. Even if she's decided that you haven't earned courtesy and pleasantries, she'll not treat you with hatred or unkindness, rather just a detached manner.
Whilst she is not large enough to simply throw her weight around to command respect, the mare does her best to prove that when she speaks up about something, or disagrees with a lead, which is extremely rare, her words have truth, and should be at least taken into consideration. She's one of the older horses in the herd, and she tries to use her wisdom, gathered over years of existing, to help those around her.
She is mildly protective. She knows that her children must discover some things for themselves, that some lessons can only be learned through experience and her sheltering them will only curse them in the future. But, still, she makes it obvious that, should they come to her with questions or concerns, she will listen and answer them. If they come and ask to be protected, she will protect them. If they come with tales and mistreatment and horrid things, she will leave her heart open for them.
Inessa is not a cruel or malicious creature, often forgiving those that have wronged her, but going far from forgetting. You only get so many chances before she's had enough of being mistreated. And, while she will not react aggressively to force you out, she is patient and careful--she will cut you out of her life, one way or another, and there will be a gap where the small, kind mare once was.
