Tasi, god of the Water, Fertility, and Destruction
Name and pronunciation: Tasi (tah-see)
Pronouns/gender identity: he/him, cis(?) male.
Sexuality: Unlabled, whoever happens to catch his attention.
Age: Unknowably ancient.
Physical appearance:
He appears as a male human standing at about 6'4" (1.93m), with an athletic, well-muscled figure. He appears both young and beautiful, perhaps 30 years old at most. He has a V-shaped torso with wide shoulders and narrow hips, with especial definition to his muscles on his abs and thighs. His legs are short compared to his torso, but are still proportional to his body. His skin is a soft, tan-ish pale shade. All areas of skin that would be pink due to blood close to the surface (cheeks, fingers, etc.) are tinged yellow due to his golden ichor. His hair is deep, green-tinged black, and reaches just below his shoulders, with short curly bangs and the length of it twisted into nine even ringlets. His face is rather delicate, with high cheekbones, a soft jaw, a grecian, almost aqualine, nose, and full lips. He has upturned eyes, with a positive canthal tilt. His sclera is pale, pastel green, and his irises are a saturated sea green. He has no pupils. His brows are fairly flat, with a slight curve, and although not very thick, appear strong-looking. The nails on his hands are long and perfectly almond-shaped. He has no body hair.
Clothing style: His clothes follow the style of the ancient Greek, most commonly a toga over a tunic or a short chiton. He always wears a golden band around his head. He usually wears blues, greens, and browns, both saturated and desaturated. His togas and chitons have elaborate golden embroidery, and his togas typically have seashells or pearls beaded into them. He sometimes wears sashes with his togas. He also wears pearl jewelery, most commonly delicate headpieces, but also bracelets or necklaces accented by shells. He also ocassionally wears golden bracers or other minimal body armour inlaid with pearls and shells. He does not wear shoes.
Personality: Moody and fickle, he cannot be predicted. While he does enjoy a strong routine for his actions, the slightest disturbance can entirely throw him off and incur his wrath. For the most part, he tends to appear calm, gathered, taking things as they come. However, a broiling hunger lurks under the surface. He is a devourer, claiming and consuming all that lies before him, even if it takes millennia. He's rather haughty, looking down upon everybody he doesn't like- which is most people. His favour cannot entirely be gained, but it is possible to please him. When someone does please him, he will bestow plentiful boons upon them, perhaps even grant them longevity. He greatly enjoys alone time, becoming easily stirred up and agitated in large crowds. He dislikes loud noises. He tends to stay away from most of the actions of the gods, preferring to remain in the routine of his domain and occasionally meddle with human affairs. He is not intentionally cruel. He is simply a force of nature.
Backstory: I'm not yet sure what this god family is like, so I'll work on it as the RP grows. As a basis, he is the son of a greater god, with a few siblings, also in charge of higher powers (much like the Zeus/Poseidon/Hades trio). He was around long before mortals, and will be here after they are all gone. He has spent most of his existence keeping to himself, only occasionally joining the fights of the gods when they threaten his domain. However, he does hear all the gossip (water is everywhere, after all), and remembers it all. Just in case he needs to blackmail somebody.
Powers: While he does not control the tides, he controls natural disasters having to do with the ocean- tsunamis, hurricanes/cyclones/tropical storms, earthquakes, waterspouts, and maelstroms. He controls the floods of rivers and the health or blight of crops. The destruction he empowers is not necessarially human-made, with his specialty in natural disasters and the slow erosion of everything. He can appear in several animal forms, most commonly a dog, dolphin, or horse, but prefers his human form.
Patron of: Fishermen, farmers, warriors, weavers, and coastal civilisations.
Family/relations: Whatever family of gods there is, is, of course, his family. As a god of fertility, he does have some semi-mortal, and perhaps monsterous, children, but he does not know any of them.
Other: Nothing, at the moment.
