Aspen stood besides Berry. Aspen's fur bristled as Frost rose to his full height. She twitched her ears, all of them were on edge. Blizzard was big enough to challenge Frost and potentially win.

Berry jumped a bit as Aspen came up beside her. Her fur was bristled and Berry could tell she was thinking about the same thing as her, this stranger might be able to win if he would challenge Frost. She hated this fact and found herself taking a step closer to Frost. Berry was now only a hop away from Frost. She really hoped he didnt notice but even if he did she didnt think she could move. Bad thoughts flashed through her mind as she nervously waited for what was going to happen next. Just then she realised she was just over reacting and clamed down a bit, but she was still a bit nervous. Ive never felt this strongly about protecting someone....What is this feeling?! I must find out soon or its going to drive me crazy Berry thought to herself.

He could tell the warcheif was worried or nervous. They were probably around the same size and age, so he wasnt to frightened. "My name is Blizzard, I dont come to harm only in peace. I am a lone ravbit with no Warren. Ive never known about any ither Warren's and never have fully met my parents, as they were loners and abandoned me. I was just looking to join." He said, bowing his head in respect. "I have not come to threaten or challenge you, only to join." He oowered to the ground in submission, hoping it was enough.

When the male said that he wasnt going to challenge Frost Berry couldn't help but let out a sigh. It felt as if a huge burden was lifted off of Berry's shoulders. Finally at peace Berry started to nibble on some grass. She was very thankful for this turn of events. Berry felt bad Blizzard though. She kinda knew what he felt like. She didnt have good parents either. She also didn't really have any friends at her old warren either. "Sorry for your hard life." Berry said quietly, still a little wary.

The big rabbit stood a bit more firmly after seeing Berry smile at him, but Frost's paw twitched a bit as the chimera doe moved to stand beside him. Worry filled his heart; this rabbit was unfamiliar, potentially dangerous. What if he hurt her?
As Blizzard spoke, though, Frost's ears pricked, listening carefully. An odd mix of pity and admiration filled his heart. The grey buck had never known his parents, and he'd survived for three whole years as a wanderer? It was clear that the presence of so many rabbits had frightened the newcomer, and, well, he could see why. Berry had relaxed somewhat, nibbling on some grass, but the air was thick with tension. Aspen was bristling, and she wasn't the only one who looked on edge. If this Blizzard was true to his word, though, he would be a good rabbit to have around.
"Well, welcome to the warren. We've just moved here ourselves, actually, so you're not the only one who's on unfamiliar footing. You'll be a denizen for now, and when you learn more about warren life we can see what rank you'd like and would suit you."

Oat's ears perked and tension left her body, relieved Blizzard wouldn't be forced out into the oncoming storm. It never even occurred to her that the stranger could potentially challenge Frost for his rank. In her mind, everyone was as content with their place in the warren as she was.

"Our burrow is this way," Oat said cheerfully, nudging the big buck. "Since I ruined your rest and all."

Blizzard bowed his head, relief surging through him. After all these years he was funnaly a part of a Warren, and these rabbits wouldn't hurt him. "Thank you Frost, Warcheif. I promise to be a big help for your Warren."

Oat nudged him and he turned towards her. A nice burrow that he could sleep in. "Yes, Thank you Oat." He said following her to the burrow. "But later can you show me around? So I can get familiar to my new home?"

"Of course," Oat agreed, "though I'm just a digger, I don't leave the burrow often- oh, I forgot the grass!" The big doe sighed. The rain would ruin it. Well, the warren would just have to make do with dirt until the long grass could be gathered.

"We've got three patrollers that are more familiar with the area, Aspen, the smaller doe, Hop, the skinny buck, and his brother, Bog, he's probably still asleep." Oat continued on, wiggling into the burrow. It felt so much safer under the cool earth.

They were almost to rhe burrow when she told him that she'd forgotten the grass. "Well I'll help you if you want." He told her, "I cant wait and go with the patrollers later." Blizzard really wanted to help and make a good impression so he wouldn't let Frost down. He didnt really know the Warren rules but he'd learn in time.

Berry was glad everything had worked out fine. She then watched Oat and Blizzard go towards the warren. Berry wanted to run and hug Frost but thought against it. That would be weird, Berry thought with a laugh. Why was she thinking such weird things? Berry then turned to Frost. "Good-job handling this. Im glad everything worked out." She smiled again at Frost before thinking about who to ask about this funny feeling.
