Florrie | Caregiver / Guard | F | M: Other Caregivers + pups (ind), firepups

The nursery can become a surprisingly hot and humid place throughout one night, and the amount of fully grown she-wolves and pups all packed into it only adds to this. Florrie stumbles to stumpy legs, dislodging herself from the pile of wolves she's become entangled in during her sleep, and saunters out into the open air, taking in a deep breath of the refreshingly cool and dry area. The pack is quiet for now, and her limbs are sore after a night of being rolled around, but it's a peaceful morning regardless... even with the pillars of smoke in the distance.

Speaking of fire... Florrie yawns as she looks around the clearing with tired eyes, wondering if anyone has bothered to feed the firepups yet. It doesn't look like very many wolves are up at this time of day, so she doubts it. Florrie trots over to one of the more barren carcasses, looking for a soft chunk of flesh or two, preferably almost boneless. She's wary of those... pups, yes, but they still have little teeth with weak stomachs. Can't be tossing them something they can't even eat.

Once she reaches their cave outside the main densite - a placement she has incredibly mixed feelings about - Florrie hesitantly drops down their pound of flesh. A part of the she-wolf wants to spring back immediately and hope the little odd half-firelings are still asleep, but another part wants to stay and at least make sure that they notice the food and make an effort to eat it. She can see the orange glow of those odd, unnatural pups from within, and for that reason, she makes it a point to stay where the sun can hit her.
