Thank you! I'm looking forward to having him calm down even slightly. Hopefully it will help with his training as well! I don't mind the barking, I mostly find it funny that he barks at dumb stuff.

Yeah, it's really not his fault since they refused to train him as a pup to be polite. But I'm also only about 10lbs heavier than him so it's a fight for my life lol. I don't know how he got so big. His mama was a purebred redbone coonhound and he looks just like her, just 60lbs bigger xD

Oh she is allowed to bark all she want when home, just we don't encourage her to do that when she isn't home and she does it for aggressive reasons towards dogs.

And oooh hope it goes smoothly when you castrate your dog! That would also lessen his chances of developing cancer (technically speaking)

I get that. Most big dogs throw their weight around without realizing they're as big as they are. I see how that can be annoying.
A good chunk of people are actually afraid of my dog. He gets excited around people (still working on it, since he can't be doing that as an SD) and barks/jumps. He doesn't do it as often as he used to, thank goodness.

I never understood people who get so annoyed with their dogs barking that they consider debarking them. If you don't want to listen to barking, either get a naturally quiet dog, or don't get a dog at all!

I was walking her once, and she was kinda being extra reactive towards other dogs (like staring them down, barking at them, etc.), likely cause she was in heat. So I had her sit down, so she cools down and stops taking an aggressive stance towards the dogs. And oh goodness. She let the WHOLE neighbourhood know that she doesn't want to sit down. She eventually did sit down.... but such a cheeky dog! Not even treats make her feel better for sitting down

Like you wouldn't believe! Every little thing has him talking, and he'll bark at the weirdest things! Just before I took that picture, he was barking at the lint roller of all things!

My first dog was a shih tzu, the only small dog I've ever more than tolerated. After that was a blue-nosed pitbull. Now I've got my sweetie GSD. His name is Janja (Pronounced Yan-yah) and he's lovely when he's calm, lol.

Before interacting with this page make sure you sign up for GLOWMIRE
.
You've left the safety of town... The Rotten Forest. A dangerous place that keeps the residents of Glowmire in their happy little town most days. There are terrible things here, illnesses that will rot you from the inside out and creatures who won't hesitate to shred you. This is where you'll have to complete most quests...
.
.
.
RULES
.
One post at a time. I will post the start of your quest, you'll go where you want and I'll tell you what happens. If you're in a party you will all get a turn before I do, but whoever posted first cannot post again until I do.
.
You can only roleplay here if you are pursuing a quest, if you try to post here without taking a quest first you will be ignored.
.
Do not ask for tamable encounters, it will hurt your chances of finding one.
.
When in battle use the turn rule.
.
When in battle, you cannot dodge after I say you've been hit, I have a coin flip I'm using for if you dodge hits or not, I will say if your character dodged a hit.
.
Each player character has 100 HP, each creature does a certain damage if it hits you. Armor can reduce this. Each creature also has its own HP, some are designed to be much harder than others. If your character runs out of HP they faint and return to Glowmire with 5 HP and the quest is failed and re-posted.
.

As the safety of the barbwire fence is left behind, the sounds of the forest echo across the cobblestone path, mixing with footsteps.

You walk along for a while, the cobblestone path fading behind you. Suddenly, a loud CRACK echos through the woods and a tree comes crashing down right next to you, it's branches scratching your shoulder.

You search for tracks along the cobblestone path. Indeed there are signs that suggest the horse has been here on more than one occasion, broken branches and small game trails.
While following one of them, you come across the body of a former town member... a small wolf, now overgrown with mushrooms and Spores. It looks like she has a pouch of pinecones around her neck, but something tells you to stay away...

You decide to leave it and continue following the gametrail... thinking the pinecones may be helpful, you turn around to look at the body again, watching as a small rat runs forward and jumps on it to begin feeding, before a flurry of orange spores fluttered from the dead wolf's fur and swarmed around the rats head, disappearing into its ears and making it squeak in pain before running off into the bushes... You're glad you didn't touch the pouch.
.
As you follow the game trail, more and more signs of the horse appear, until you're seeing chewed trees and horseshoe shaped tracks in the mud.

You set the Iron Cage out between two trees on the game trail, covering it with dead leaves and branches before setting the bucket of rotten veggies inside.
-You've used Iron Cage and Bucket of Rotten Veggies-
You then position yourself downwind of the trap and wait.
