Candy was happy to see his mate seemed to be calming down as she murmured in her sleep. unfortunately as soon as he was about to fall back asleep he felt the sharp pain of teeth sinking into his tail and a small crack could be heard through their den followed by an unholy scream of pain. He jumped up and pulled his now ruined tail from his mates mouth before running outside to inspect the damage in the moonlight where he could see better. Unfortunately in his hurry to get outside his paw slipped on the branch and he ended up falling into a bush below. Luckily he hadn't hurt himself in the fall but his fur was now a complete mess with sticks and leaves quickly tangling in his fur as he struggled out of the bush.

The poor fox was panting heavily from adrenaline as he crawled out of the bush and looked down to see just how bad he looked. The sight of his bloody and broken tail, bent at an odd angle was enough to break his heart thee dirt and leaves now sticking to him only making him more upset as he whined in pain and anguish. His beautiful tail was ruined now and to make matters worse he couldn't even be angry, he knew Nori hadn't meant to hurt him. Candy sighed as he slowly began to clean his fur and tail trying to make himself somewhat presentable before going to the the healers.

Firestorm picked up a squirrel and took some ravenous bites. He kept an eye on the sky for eagles, but they seemed to be gone. He was a bit worried about owls, but those birds only really grabbed kits, anyway.

After his meal Firestorm returned to his den and curled up for a nap, resting his head on his fluffy tail. But his pelt still pulsed with restless energy, and he couldn't fall asleep. He sighed and lifted his head, tail-tip twitching. He wasn't sure what to do.

A yelp fills Nori's ears and she bolts up. Candy is not in the nest. She poked her head out to see his tail a an angle it should not be. Eyes filling with panic, Nori rushed to her mate. "That was me, wasn't it?" Shame swelled in her chest as pulled a twig from the top of his head, then stepped back. "Candy... I'm, I'm sorry. I was saving dream you, but I hurt you instead." Tears fill Nori's eyes.

She could hear the silence of the night with almost no sound. Carefully closing the gate of her garden, the brown and white fox made her way into the forest again. Still there was silence so she looked around and sniffed the air then jumped onto a log.

There was a flicker in the shadows but interest peaked when she heard two yelps from different directions. A flicker of interest in her eyes as she watched shapes move in the darkness.

After a few moments she jumped off the log and started heading in the direction that one of the yelps came from.

Noah had spent to much time away from his camp. He should have found fruit by now. Thinking about his crush, he did not realize the scream came from the forest, not the desert. He rushed to his camp and growl. "Who screened?!"

Candy sighed heavily as he took a moment to lick some of his mates tears away as he softly said "it's ok dearest, I'll survive. You didn't mean to, it's not your fault. As long as you still love me I couldn't ask for anything more.... Except maybe help me fix my fur, I feel gross all covered in dirt." Just the mention of his currently ruined pelt was enough to make candy immediately go back to meticulously cleaning his mussed up fur.

Nori simles a little. Just like her mate, to keep himself persentible in the middle of anything. The fox she fell in love with. Nori fell to carfully organizing her mate's fur. Gently removing leaves from his tail, she winced and sniffs. Softly licking the blood, she can see the angle it is at. "Ouch... That looks bad. I'm so sorry." She mutters under her breath.

Crimson ran a bit farther from Arrow to encourage her to come and play. She saw Firestorm out of the corner of her eye, he wasn't asleep he just looked a little bit bored. Crimson glanced back at Arrow, then quickly back again at Firestorm. She lept forward and pounced onto Firestorm laughing a bit maniacally. She lept up and stepped back a bit inviting him to play as well, hopefully he wasn't annoyed it was just a bit of fun.

Crimson looked round as Arrow tackled her to the ground, she stood up on her hind legs and growled a bit in a playful manner. She was the leader yes but she was as playful as any other fox. She smelt something but she was to busy playing to actually take notice of the strange scent.
