some people do it for certain attribute or certain wolves of theirs, so that if you wanna donate point to them you have to do it for a certain wolf/attribute, Many people keep dominance turned off so that it doesn't mess up pack happiness if someone donates on it

If you mean when the counter-thing resets, Spring 1. One breeding per female each year, it resets at Spring 1.
