That's a good point. I guess it would be nice if the first few generic pelts were free (like black, white...ones that the rarity stays at 0).

You're welcome.
It would definitely be nice if you could somehow not select a base coat in the situations where you were planning on using a dye; but I don't see how that could happen without there being people who would say they would use a dye, and not use one so they could get a cheaper custom.

Yeah, I get that. But the custom wolf maker strips everything and starts from scratch. You might check though if the dye you plan on using is already one of the options for pelt colors when making the wolf. If so, you won't need the dye. ;-)

Bhiahra: She turned her back to the sword and dagger as she began browsing other options instead, although her tail still swished slightly as she knew in her mind she had to save more gold if she wanted to buy more items in the future.
~
She reached down as she ran her paws over the handle of a fairly standard sword, her eyes still wandering over other items as she seemed to pay them no interest.
