After you've explored and used all your steps (fleeing due to health, hunger or thirst don't count), go to your wolves' pages and scroll down to where it says play. From there, all you have to do is select the method of playing. In the beginning, only nose pushing is available, but every 25 successful plays you'll unlock a new form of playing.

Also with every 25 play points you receive 25 CP (I'm a bit iffy on this part so correct me if I'm wrong)
