POEM 1: When the Sadness Overcomes

You may think life is unbearable

You might think the world is terrible

You might think that your heart will walk

Walk away like he did

Especially when your tucked away in bed

But there’s one thing to remember

When the sadness overcomes

The world will ember

The light will shine

And things will be quite fine

The world won’t won’t end or diminish

Because it isn’t finished

Time won’t stop

Because of one drop

You may think your time is done

But when the sadness overcomes

The world will ember

The light will shine

And so will you

And so will I

POEM 2: Beginning-End of a Story

And that’s how ----------

A lonely nobody

Finished his story

Throughout times of dark and light

He fought through the storm and was alright

His perseverance became a dagger

When he felt like he could only stagger.

Playing songs and writing books

He made his goals like hooks

Reaching out to him in the flame

Shutting out negative thoughts like blame

Took too long to escape this terrible way

To steer this heavy wheel so he couldn’t stay

So yes, this boy, shattered only

A ----------- lonely

Finished his story

He put his pen down

Put on his crown

Shut off his frown

Looked high at the stars

His mind in Mars

He cleaned his scars

Optimism came from his heart

As he left this failed spark

To crstuff cheekse a new start
