In theory, characters would be prompted to follow Apelios to this sort of lookout where he just sort of stares out into the distance and the stars.

Depending on what they did/asked/etc. they could either startle him and he'd go back... or they could get him to state that he's always watching the skies and waiting for someone.

IF they ever get to that point (mentioned above) they'll see the following picture from Apelios

Oh the off-chance they actually get that far, they'll learn that Apelios constantly watches the skies for "his Icarus". That person in the picture is his Icarus, essentially. Which they'll figure out that Apelios isn't from the world, blah blah blah.

But hasn't left either, since it's a common travel place.
