Almost giving you a wicked smile as it throws its body weight to toss the sword before landing a bite on your arm. -5 HP As you regain your mind on the bank a bit, you suddenly nearly drop your sword as a horrible pain breaks out in your hands. -Your Mushroom Fur has Manifested- -5 HP You can still hold your sword and fight though, luckily... but you feel your stomach ache as well as you look back towards the creature once more. It roars as you make eye contact, and it rushes to jump at you this time. -You May- Attack High Attack Low Run! |

Nanuk You attack high, and the dog slams into your chest, your sword making contact with its side, while it locks its jaw on your shoulder. -The Rot Hound looses 10 HP- -5 HP You finally wrestle away from it after a moment, both of you snarling. It begins to circle you menacingly, it's head low. Before it suddenly lunges at you again. -You May- Attack High Attack Low Run! |

The pain is searing, but somehow it seems to bring Nanuk into further focus. As the dog lunges, Nanuk steps to the left at the last minute and then takes her sword and jabs low, aiming for the dog's head. |

Nanuk You step out of the way of the beasts attack again, slashing your sword but missing. However, when the dog skirts and tries to bites at your legs, your follow through decapitates it, and it's head rolls into the river and floats away... -The Rot Hound is killed, loosing 10 HP- You take the time to skin the beasts body, careful to take breaks for your tired mind. Just as you finish skinning, another mushroom growth jumps from the fur on your shoulder, making you Yelp in pain. -5 HP -You've earned a Rot Hound Pelt- You realize you have everything you need to complete your quest, bit remember you wanted to try to get to the Savannah... -You May- Follow the River Downstream Go Back to the Forest Return to Glowmire |

Nanuk wants to get to the Savannah, and she had planned to knock both of the things out at the same time. But, the mushroom fur was beginning to worry her. The rot hound quest should give her enough cones to cure herself, so she decides to return to Glowmire. |
