Andy, you could put it into view>den card explore or den card stats then just under it at the top it'll tell you how many wolves you have. Then scrolling down to the very bottom it'll tell you how many slots are open

"Are you sure you don't wanna stick around town a bit? I just gave Adira your share of the Mushroom King quest, did she find you already?"
He asked as he examined your equipment and flattened his ears.
"Id also really recommend a bow for this one, its ill advised to get anywhere close to it"
