| See everyone here agreeing? None of us are "normal". What your dad wants isn't. I bet he can't even do normal things sometimes. I have ADHD. I didn't find out for sure until I was 16. I first got tested when I was 8, and they said I didn't have it. Things can change I might not be "normal", but I'm really good at baking and cooking, and I love reading and writing! You'll find your thing, and it'll be the thing that makes you happy, and sometimes even want to throw it at the wall in frustration. That, my friend, is normal |

| Tern, I have autism, adhd, as a teen my room was always messy, I was forgetful, time management is awful, didn't feel like i was good at anything. I now use those same things to enforce state compliance and I am one of the highest sought after SDRS in my industry |

| Eye, I can barely remember to brush my teeth or take my meds, I can't remember to do the dishes or even put the laundry into the dryer same day. I struggle with interacting with humans face to face, I over share when I'm comfortable with someone and once I determine someone is more than a stranger to me I get anxious and worry if they're ok, which has driven off a lot of friends in my life. I have to have a clock strapped to my wrist and on every wall to even keep track of time, I could start something 5 hours early and still end up a minimum of 10 minutes late. I'm not good at ANYTHING a normal human can do because there's no such thing as a normal human. But would you say those things about me? |
