Plot

In the year 2132, Earth is beginning to have its downfall. Scientists have been suspecting something going wrong, and that is finally happening. With climate change and pollution, Earth is slowly becoming a waste land. Crops are becoming harder and harder to produce every year, businesses are shutting down as their employees are dying from diseases, and the government is seemingly doing nothing about it.

Seemingly.

The world has been like this for about 30 years. This generation may be the last to ever see the light of day. That is unless the people do something.

Space travel was assumed to be prevented as it wasn't able to be funded and wasn't going to be useful. How would it be beneficial to anyone in a time like this? People dying of disease, people losing their jobs, farmers barely being able to provide for their communities, doctors unsure of how to help the influx of dying people... Why invest in such an expensive things when there was more to be worried about? Well, behind closed curtains, the government has been utilizing what is left of NASA to hopefully discover a new world that humans could inhabit.

They have sent few probes and even fewer people to three different planets - one of which seems to be the most promising. Known as TLR-000591, or more common - Earth 2, NASA has found that its data is most promising. They have sent two probes, both sending back data over the past two years. However, there is more to be discovered than what the government had received.

Before the world went short on resources, a group of what could've been astronauts have gone their separate ways after NASA was 'shut down'. Some have kids, some life alone, some are still discovering themselves. However, after each receiving a letter inviting them to a dinner, they're reluctant because that could mean leaving everything behind. They decide to go anyway, curious about what other details the mission entails.

After getting sucked into Earth 2's atmosphere, everyone but four members of the crew perishes. With only limited supplies and information, the two must try to find a way back... unless the native species or perhaps others have a different plan for them.

- Melody tends to be a bit on the... pitiful and whiney side. She always tries to smile, but sometimes she just can't help but freak out.

- Besides whenever she freaks out, Melody usually always hides her unpleasant emotions behind a bright smile.

- Although Melody is quite weak both mentally and physically, she is quite loyal and when it comes down to the important things, she will never abandon her friends or family.

Melody grew up in a large family. She had five big brothers and one younger brother. It's safe to say, her parents loved her, because both of them had always wanted a girl. She was definitely spoiled, with her parents giving her extra attention and her brother's always protecting her. She was basically on the top of the world. That is, until she got to highcshool, where things got hard. She wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, so academically, she wasn't doing well at all. And when people found out she was failing almost every class, they stopped wanting to hang out with her. Even her brother's couldn't protect her from isolation. That's how she learned how to mask her emotions in the form of a bright smile. Pretend to be happy, and alot of the times, people will tolerate you. That's what Melody learned over the years. After that, she went on to apprentice under Sarah Boise with NASA. Yeah, she may be no good with numbers and letters, but when allowed to look and explore, Melody isn't the worst at learning. Being able to observe the thing she's learning... it makes her happy and helps the information stick in her brain.

Melody looked up to Sarah quite alot. Sarah was one of the only people who believed in her and helped her with the things that she struggled with. With Sarah, Mel didn't have to fake a smile quite as much and didn't seem so awkward to others. Now that Sarah's gone, though, Melody is kind of... lost.

Taelor isn't one for nicknames. However, if someone manages to warm his hard heart, he may let them call him something other than his name.

Straight but if someone special enough comes along he may be open to trying out something.

Hair: Taelor had silky black hair that makes you want to run your hands through it. It's a bit shaggy but that's the way he likes it, so it's intentional. It's long enough to the point that sometimes he has to brush it out of his eyes, but again, he likes it that way.

Eyes: Taelor has mesmerizing dark brown eyes. The brown is so dark it can often be mistaken for black in dim light. In the sun though, you can clearly see it's dark brown. His eye shape is hooded.

Skin: For skin tone, he is on the slightly darker side. It's not brown, but it isn't necessarily the lightest either.

Face/Body: Taelor has a strong jaw, but otherwise his face looks normal. For his body, it's more of a rectangle shape. He doesn't really have muscles, but he dosent really have fat either. He's the type of person you would call puny, though he's far from it if you look at his smarts. However, then you might call him a nerd, and well, you might be right. He certainly could be your stereotypical movie nerd, just without glasses. But he really is more than his normal looking appearance, especially if you take a look inside.

Height: Taelor stands at 5'10.

Weight: Taelor weighs about 195 lbs.

Taelor was born right as life as people knew it started to collapse. His parents had been barely getting by as it was, so the decline in things hit their modest little family hard. It wasn't long before Taelor was fending for himself in the world. His father had abandon them when he was only a year old and his mother eventually died because of the poor conditions. No orphanage in a ten mile radius would take him and people were to busy freaking out to care enough to help him. So from 10 years and onwards, Taelor was the homeless orphan in his little town. He did whatever he could to survive and experienced things no little boy should, which turned him into who he is today. Yeah, he can be a bit cold harded, but he's well versed in the art of survival.

By the time Taelor had his nineteen birthday, a retired couple took him in despite everything. The man had been high ranking in the military formerly, so with his connections, he helped get Taelor into something that would give the young man a purpose. For the next few years, Taelor worked his butt off and eventually became a respected and experienced military pilot. After that, he went to work for NASA. The reason? Helping people - no matter how rude people thought he was - was his reason to live. He doesn't want anyone eles to go through what he did.
