Cairo || 6 || Band || M: Others, Czar As Storm darted away, the male made a short grab at him but did not give chase. If the vultures didn't get to the weevil, then Sirius would. He saw no need to wear himself out on the eve of war. What was the point in a weakened wolf, after all? Cairo instead made his way deeper into the camp, alerting all those who had not been out and witnessed the day's events. Czar's words found his ears and he trotted off after him, though he kept his distance. Cairo had never really been a "partner" kind of male. Partner of any kind. As the other male growled and slinked off, the clouds finally began to release small droplets of rain. Cairo bared his teeth and followed after Czar's retreating frame, head filled with irritated mumblings. -- Sylphrena || 3 || Band || M: Aether Syl spent some unknown time in the campsite alone before finally deciding it was time to find a partner. Most of the scent trails of the other band wolves parted into pairs, and it took her a moment to find one that did not have a second beside or behind it. Recognizing it as Aether, she trotted after it quietly. It took her to the river, and she managed to catch a water vole for dinner. With her stomach feeling mostly satisfied, the female returned to her search for her quarry. The scent trail led to a smaller sized den where Aether's scent was most powerful; it took her a moment to view the wolf himself. "Is it alright if I partner up with you?" she questioned, keeping outside of the hole. Most of the band was especially testy when it came to denning areas. They were sort of hard to come by, and once they were claimed, their owners rarely let go of them. |

Larkspur || 3 || Alpha || M: Sirius (Ind), Others Larkspur sat on an outcropping not far above the camp, rain misting her vision. As the drops hit the warmer rocks, tendrils of steam rose up and curled lazily around their falling cousins. The scents of the mountain were soon dominated by the smell of musty rain. Larkspur's unblinking, yellow eyes were trained on Sirius. The recent events had given her enough information on the male to warrant heightened suspicion, and she had privately told Slade to keep a discreet eye on the newcomer. Sirius caused a serious dilemma. If the male was loyal to his band, then he would try to sneak away and feed information. He would pose an incredibly serious threat to her kin, her friends, her charges. On the other hand, if he were a traitor to his kind, then what would stop him from giving up the pack's information at the first sign of a new dangerous wolf? In either scenario, the band male's loyalty was certainly not in her pack's favor. Her gaze hardened upon him, eyes glowing slightly in the receding light, and the beginning of a growl welled up in her throat before she stomped it back down. She would be keeping a close eye on that one. |

Aether—4—Band—M: Syl Aether woke up a little after the noise of the brambles outside his door rattled. He opened a tired eye to see a female wolf he had seen around the band. He recognized her as Syl. She had asked to be partners and was currently being soaked by the rain. He noticed her white fur stuck to her ribs from the weather and felt sympathy for her. He rather hated being stuck out in the cold, dampness of a drizzle. However, he knew that she could easily bring him down if it came to a fight and he was the one who built it. It would also be a bit cramped inside with her and she was wet! Plus he was going to look for Sirius in the morning. A roommate wouldn’t be the wisest decision, he concluded. He glanced up at her again as she patiently waited outside. He took a deep breath to tell her no. But what would a gentleman do? The thought popped in at the last second, causing his original blunt answer to change rapidly. “For a little while.” He found himself responding. “Only until I find Sirius. This den can’t fit more than two.” He shifted over a little bit to give her more room. He also prayed that she wouldn’t shake inside his dry den which would spray water everywhere. And he wasn't in the mood to be wet. |

Sylphrena || 3 || Band || M: Aether, Sirius (Ind) Syl chuffed gratefully and carefully entered the small den, making sure to push herself up against the opposite wall from Aether to avoid sharing the acquired moisture. It was obvious that he had his reservations; Syl didn't blame him for that. His brother was a much more desirable partner for him, she was sure, and Sirius was definitely more familiar with the male. Sylphrena had spent a couple years with them, sure, but the band wasn't what she would call close-knit. It was more of a free-for-all, and only the most dominant wolves ended up surviving their first few months. Her orange eyes went out of focus as she stared off into the distance. A short time later, she snapped back to reality and began licking herself to stop the rivulets of rain running down her body from congregating in the center of the snug den. She paused in her grooming to say, "Sorry to burst in like this." |

Autumn || 3 || Loner || M: Delta, Band (Referenced) The black and amber loner continues to slowly step backwards, her gaze never leaving that of her opponents. She placed her paws carefully, one behind the other, until she reached the edge of the woods. Her body became enveloped by leaves and branches, leaving nothing but glowing topaz orbs to be seen. When away from view, Autumn quickly turned to trotted off into pack territory. Surely she wouldn’t follow me here. Now, Autumn knew the huge risk she was taking. After all, she was once a part of the pack. If she was caught, let alone smelling like a wounded one of them. However, luck was in her favor, as a drizzle soon started. She sighed in relief, looking for a place to spend the night. As dumb as this may be, I think I should invesigate that spot again. Hopefully, the group will have moved one by now. Besides, if he is a part of this band of wolves, it might be worth keeping an eye out for. |

Midnight| M: Luna, Larkspur. Midnight countinued wagging her tail gently. Tilting her head, she listened to the slight noise of the rain. She heard the Alpha move, and the rain drip off of the cave lip. She looked outside to see the rain fall. It was a misty like rain, one that she hated, but her dead brother loved. Midnight glanced back at Luna. She licked her paw quickly and looked around. She decided to leave until Luna was ready, moving to sit beside the Alpha. The rain penetrated her fluffy fur, making it stick to her tiny body. She felt her underfur soak, and shook herself quickly. She looked at the Alpha and noticed she had gotten the extra moisture on her. She groomed the Alpha, before stopping quickly. " I-Im sorry, do you want me to leave? " She asked trying not to whine. |

Kyrie || 3 years || Subordinate || M: Mushroom and Luna | Ind: Larkspur, Amara and Midnight The feeling of the alphesses touch would calm the white faes worries, it looked almost as if she were smiling softly at the alpha fae. Kyrie's soft eyes would light up slightly at Larkspurs instructions, nodding her head she would stand still for a couple of moments. Kyrie thought about where the dens could be before it it finally came to mind and with a nod she would spin around on her heal to find the group of wolves she just wanted to see. As they speak she would softly clear her throat as to get there attention, before standing up straighter to speak. "As it was the alphesses orders I shall escort you all to the a hidden den, away from any invaders that trespass our territory. Now please, follow close behind me." She would speak with a firm yet gentle voice, before she would turn to walk away she would bow low to Larkspur and follow along the path to the hidden dens. She motioned for Mushroom and the pups to follow behind her. "Oh. Do not fret, Luna. I'll take Amara and... this little one to the most secure and hidden den we have." She smiles softly at the other white fae, her eyes would soon fall on Midnight, curious to the name of the new pup. As Kyrie began padding towards the foliage with the others hopefully in tow, the rain pelted across their coats as she would guide the three as far from the others and as close to the most hidden den she knew of in the territory. Her paws would come to a stop when she found the exact location she was looking for. The small den was hidden by long grass, vines and bushes all alike. It was as if the dug up den was not there at all. Turning to the three she would hopefully see once she scanned the space around her, she would speak. "This is the most hidden I know of, I think it best to cover your scents with some herbs to remove any evidence of us being here. You should hop in now before it gets late. I'll come back later to check on you." She would instruct Mushroom, a gentle smile appearing at her maw. She hoped she was talking to her at least, did they follow her and manage to catch up? Her eyes would scan the area just to be sure. |

Aether—4—Band—M: Syl Aether was grateful that Syl maintained her wetness to herself. She didn’t seem a bad roommate so far, a much better one than any other band wolf he could think of besides his brother. He looked up when his unexpected guest apologized. He hadn’t dozed off again, as he was waiting for her to sleep. He never really knew Syl and they had rarely conversed. His impulse was to grunt for an answer, but she was polite and he valued manners. So he treated her as a better host would, after all, she was cleaning up the water on the floor. Seer wouldn’t have done that. “It’s okay.” He replied with a shrug. “And thank you for keeping the den dry.” He looked up to see if the roof was maintaining itself well. There were leaks, he knew, but they were small and few. Only a huge downpour could cause a flood. He prayed that it would remain a drizzle, after all a deluge would cause the river to overflow its banks and eventually break the den. He looked over at the white wolf, curious what to do next. Make small talk or pretend to fall asleep? He was trying to read what she would respond the best, but was having a difficult time. He averted his eyes back to the ceiling in case she was curious why he was staring at her. It would be awkward to say that he was trying to deduce her so he could know how to act around her. |

Sierra-7 years-Band Strangler Storm Sierra spotted the male from before, Strangler squeezing in a small den he made in the pack territory. I thought the pack would've found this already! She thought a sniffed. It smelled all of loner around here. Wow I guess the pack is really that stupid. Sierra looked inside covered it with some dirt and saw Strangler's head shoot up. She kicked more dirt on. This might be mean but I'm coming back for him tomorrow. Sierra thought and padded off to where she thought was pack camp. She sniffed and caught the scent of a band wolf mixed with pack and she slowly followed it curiously. Then she caught the scent of Storm and his head shot up. Sierra dashed after the scent noticing it led to the Pack's camp and she ran faster. Sierra noticed she was already before close to the camp and she hid in a bush and checked it for Storm. She spotted him in his shady spot again and she crept over there again. She grabbed him and this time he was ready and he kicked her with his hind paws and she let go and he ran off. Darn. She thought and went back in the bushes and saw Storm running away and he stopped to turn around to look at the spot. |

Luna- Sub Female- M: Amara, Midnight, Kyrie Luna looked at the new pup, who once again took off before she could say anything. *An odd pup for sure* the white female thought. She gave a sigh before she groomed Amara who was already asleep, curled up into Luna's stomach. Looking out of the den, she heard Kyrie speak to her. "I would take you up on the offer, if Amara wasnt asleep, and if the new pup seemed to stay put at all" she said before she shook her head. "I dont even get a chance to reply to the pup before she takes off somewhere else" she said as she watched the other female. "If Amara wakes up soon, I will call you over, but I want her to sleep and not feel like something is wrong." |
