Cairo || 3 || Bachelor Band Stallion || M: Saulceris
He listened quietly as the dappled palomino spoke. That was something the younger stallion had learned quickly: always listen to the older horses. It would be years before he himself had a fighting chance at winning a herd, but Saulceris was close. Surely the other would leave soon, in charge of his own band of mares instead of heading younger stallions.
"It would make more sense if they were separated from a main body," he agreed, his brows furrowing. "It would certainly be more plausible. I mean... If they are completely without a stallion, they must have barely banded together."
He wasn't sure why that would have happened, either. Cairo had never been exposed to humans; they had never been a threat in his birth herd, and they were mostly used as stories to entertain yearlings and foals. He hadn't encountered any where he currently stayed, either. So, in his mind, the only logical way a group of mares would be travelling alone was by being separated from a main herd or having joined together as loners, similar to bachelor bands.
His white and dun sides expanded and then shrank back as he heaved a long sigh, eyes scanning the horizon. The weather was impeding both his vision and his smell; he couldn't even tell where exactly they were.
