~I guess to an outsider, the realm of the supernatural works in both mysterious and unpredictable ways, but for me being born into it, everything seems to make sense...I think

This quaint village in the river valley was peaceful, and I took pride in maintaining order here. Although it was surrounded by forest and mountains, it was still 10 minutes away from town and just half an hour from the big city. We get a lot of rowdy college students or blissfully unaware tourists up in here, most who do not know our ways and customs.

My name is Liam Cooper, and just became an Alpha a couple of months ago. I honestly thought that being in charge of a pack of werewolves would be a lot more glamorous than it is, suffice to say it has been more of a headache than anything. No wonder why all the alphas in my family are driven to drink.

Liam, a 7'1" 375lbs giant, made his way out of his large brown two story house on top of a hill with a basalt outcrop at the base. He ran his way down the winding road, which at the bottom of the hill he was going at break neck speed probably 45mph. He managed to jump the 10ft gates without much difficulty and turned out onto the secondary road into town as part of his 20 mile jog. This Camp Creek Road was not as busy, and he could go full speed or close to it.

He got lost in his own thoughts before they were rudely interrupted by some woman pulling her car out in front of him from a side road. With little reaction time, he jumped over the top and bopped his hand down on it in frustration. It sounded like a shotgun went off, and he ran backwards making sure to stare her down. She looked like some spoiled rich yuppie that moved into the mountains, he presumed. When he turned back, he ran straight into the guard rail and tumbled down the embankment into the creek. He got cut up from the vegetation and rocks. The water stung like a hell in his wounds, and he remaind there motionless not unconscious but embarrassed.
