| @Eci I never said I made a mistake? Getting my dog whether off Craigslist or from something else will never be a mistake. She's had a shit past and now she's actually a better dog. |

| mac poor thing. my aunt rescued a dog that was advertised as a "mini sheltie" from a busted BYB situation and she had problems with her joints until the end of her life because she was bred specifically for her size. so so sad |

| Honey Yup haha My VERY first dog I ever had was rescued by the shelter from a BYB. She was one of the dogs they were breeding and she was just so over bred and neglected she ended up with lasting health issues and arthritis. We had to get her put down because she just wasn't living a good life anymore |

| Anatolian Shepherd, if you bought a dog off Craigslist because it was a legitimate rehoming situation, there's nothing wrong with that! However, if you're buying puppies that were bred by the seller (accidental or not), it's not the best way to get a dog. No need to feel threatened - even if you did make a mistake no one here is saying these things to judge you! It's just the truth and if more people are educated, it's one less unethical breeder that's supported the next time you go buy a dog. =) |

| Damn, all this talk is making me feel like I'm crappy for getting Rosie off of craigslist xD I'm not one of those people that say I "rescued her" but she's such a good girl. I don't regret my decision. |
