| My red nosed pittie had to be put down a few years after we got her. Rescued her from a backyard breeder. Apparently she was super inbred and turned out to be *very* aggressive and I believe there was something truly wrong with her brain- she attacked my older dog and that was the final straw |

| @Eci She's honestly not bad like you would think for what she's mixed with. Her training is going great and we are making progress again but before she got attacked, her people and dog aggression was completely gone. Now she's just dog reactive but getting better. |

| Nikwasi Yeah, that's my big concern </3 my hopes aren't incredibly high. I think a lot of it will die off, but a few chunks still had a good root system and relatively undamaged leaves. I'll be feeding the hell out of it to give it the best odds. |

| Dog and people aggression is really common for Anatolian Shepherds and German Shepherds. Glad she's with more suitable owners now. I can't imagine anyone would think that breed mix makes for a good pet and then getting rid of them when that's not the case. |

| My dog Rosie reminds me a lot of my dog that I put down. Their personalities and all are pretty similar. She's the best girl though. Great with my two kids, my cats, and she absolutely adores my boyfriend's pittie. |

| @ET I don't know honestly. I put my dog down a month before I got her. I was scrolling through Craigslist and I knew I had to have her. Found out she was abused so she went through training for her people and dog aggression. Then probably four months ago my boyfriend's mom's dog got out because she didn't close the gate and let her dog out and she attacked mine for no reason. Now Rosie is back in training for her reactivity and doing better. |

| They range in size and there's different types of CAS! They're a landrace breed so each country in the central asian area they hailed from called them slightly different things and had slightly different dogs suited to the climate / terrain of that area. Russian CAS can reach 150 - 200 pounds. But Turkmen Alabai, like Omen, tend to hover around 120 - 200 and can be smaller. His dad was huge but I think he'll be a more moderate male - around 130 when he taps out. |

| Nikwasi Yeah ahah, I shoulda known better, but alas, I did not. Oh man, I bet. I'm not really a puppy person, honestly but Omen gets a pass for being cute, even if he eats my plants 😭😭 Honey Well, his dad is 90 kilos! :0 so he could get pretty big. |
