ooh 0.0 well then, congrats first off. If I'd known I wouldn't have said ginger ^^' oops I have a certificate in herbalism, and I'm mildly inclined to use that to help people when given the chance XD I can check some of my notes to see if I can find anything that might work better, if you want? |

Of course ^^ ginger tea is great for mornings to help open your airways so you can breath. Chamomile is best for nights, mixed with abit of honey to help you sleep. The spicy food thing is based more on how it makes your body temp rise which helps push the cold out, same function as a fever. But it isn't for everyone, so I don't often recommend it. |

ah, never mind on the ginger tea. it's not considered safe to consume past 37 weeks gestation :') |

Moon, thanks for the tips! i'll definitely try some ginger tea tomorrow, i don't think i have any chamomile however ^^ and the spicy foods thing is interesting; i've been told to completely avoid spice while sick! didn't know it could help in certain scenarios |

there's also the option to eat spicy foods, but I don't entirely recommend that option as depending on what kind of cold it could just make it worse. That and Ik not everyone is fond of spicy stuff |

hot honey lemon water is defiantly a good option for colds, just don't take it too often as it will lessen it's potency I'd recommend green chamomile tea too, possibly if you have ginger tea that's great for mornings |

On an actual note, taking vitamin C tablets and staying well hydrated will help. If you're stuffy - I'd recommend buying decongestants if you don't have 'em. They all help the symptoms feel less severe. |

Beetle Nothing that actually works, tragically </33 Though I'm convinced honey + lemon and oranges help :] Not scientifically, but emotionally :] |

I hope you guys manage to work something out, or maybe you meet some new, cooler people instead. Friendships breaking up always sucks. |
