Hurry said: @Saphira's Cave-that helps plenty :D I had a feeling terrain was part of an answer, but I had no idea that diet also affects it
Yep! High sugar diets are especially bad since hooved animals are usually built to graze/browse.

I'm happy for you that the goats seem to be going well. Catalina is quite large, how much larger is she going to be?

Stormfast, At this rate, she'll be huge, but I'm not certain exactly how large. To give you guys an idea, about 70% of the kid's growth is in these last 2 months

Do goats experience symptoms of pregnancy that are similar to human ones? I don't know much about human ones either, but do they have mood swings or throw up or pee more often or experience back pain?

Hurry, They don't throw up, and I can't ask them how their back feels, but they haven't been showing any signs of pain, and I would assume not. They do get thirstier, which, in turn, causes them to pee more. They look a bit uncomfortable when they run, lay down, or jump, but I think it's just because they have such a huge belly to maneuver around. XD ~~ Oh, and, also! While I'm posting anyway, I might as well tell you guys that I can feel Catalina's babies kicking when I place my hand near her uterus. They already feel pretty strong, and, with that many kicks, are inheriting their mother's lively nature. ^^ Destiny's are pretty quiet, but it could just be all her floof keeping me from feeling them. :')

Destiny and Catalina pretty much both look huge right now, but the effect is made even more dramatic when they lie down. ^^ Stella is starting to look a little chubbier, and I've been giving them 2 cups of grain daily to help keep them and the kids healthy. (Catalina and Destiny are just about 4 months along, meaning a little bit over a month until we have kids!! Stella is 2 months along, and growing larger, so I hope that this breeding actually worked) Here's a picture of Destiny lying down. <3
