My first tablet art piece this year in many years aha. A friend graciously allowed me to use her tablet for today and yesterday, allowing me to create this art piece of one of my newest OCs. Even though I hate wings - Credited to my DA - tiny in the bottom left corner aha. (c) 231177 all the same ~ He has no name yet - but a bit of context. He's blind, only has one wing - but carries a lantern. The lantern light acts as his guide - It pulls him towards where he needs to go. He sometimes has crows flying about which he speaks to and will act as his eyes if he asks nicely enough. In this lifetime, he uses this lantern to help and guide other individuals like a wanderer in order to make up for his past mistakes. He is blind as a punishment for his last life. He and 4 other characters to-be made, all have some disabilities or impairments. One, for example, is deaf and has severe balance issues. Why are they being punished? That's a secret for once I have all five of these OCs' main designs created. Then stage 2 commences haha. To compensate for these punishments, they have mystical objects and the ability to converse with one or two animals/species . Some can speak to a species, such as this blind boy, one other has a single adolescent creature who becomes fully grown when needed before returning to their younger self, another has large, far more powerful creatures they converse with. The objects are unbreakable and for those with a single animal, they cannot die - since they aren't really an 'animal', it's a placeholder that appears like an animal. Simply another object provided to compensate for their punishments. They're embedded with magic and are a part of the OCs. They wouldn't have been allowed to live again without them. That's all I'll share about him for now, but I truly adore him ahah. I loved the chance to play with a more mystical and mysterious vibe compared to my usual, much more casual and easy going characters. I also adored using a pressure sensitive stylus again haha and all those new brushes were a blast. Any opinions would be lovely to hear <3 Edited at January 1, 2020 09:45 PM by Hallbjorns

Woah I really love the concept of these guys! The idea of them helping others to make up for their past mistakes is super cool *^* Also how do you draw wings so well they are such a pain

Grimm Thank you *^* I still have a lot of little details to work out and I'll eventually need to steal some people to design the other four. But hopefully, once everything is in place, I think they'll be an interesting bunch ^^ Wings are the worst - I don't know why I bother with them haha. I just work on the basis of rinse and repeat until they sort of look like a wing Tween Artor Uuu thank you <33 I know, I know ;-; But saving -
