I mean, people back then got hella disowned for being gay and stuff like that. That kinda public humiliation is enough to put anyone through a loop. I can see why they'd all be terrified of the gay panic, they don't want people spreading rumors behind their backs. The history of being gay and trans is super clouded and its really hard to tell whats actually acurate about all the information, or any information reguarding ealier time periods at all. I try my best to research everything, through the internet, books, movies, my families stories and culture, real places and settings. Most stories I've heard from older generations of people being gay normally pointed towards said person being kicked out of the house though

Theres two types of gay panic in this gang, the kind where they're panicing unwilling to except it, and the other kind, where they're just kinda like "cool"

Yeaaah that's all true so it definitely makes sense why they would have some sort of panic, but I guess it still surprises me how many queer cowboy groups there were. and biker groups surprisingly?? totally different time period, I know, but it still amazes me how biker groups are highly associated with queerness- like they would go out of their way to kiss each other in front of cops too just to piss them off. I dont know why I am thinking about this now, but it just popped into my head and now I am rambling again oops-

Oh mann, last night did not go as planned... We were supposed to meet some friends there and go home with them but then it was fucking impossible to find anyone and they ended up going home some time later but we hung out with my roommates sister and her friends, meet this really cool and nice guy that we hung around, definitely a big plus that we got free drinks but also he was hella nice and funny and even though I had just met him I think I like got adopted or something, which tends to happen since I usually end up being the youngest in every group... We were gonna go from one tent to another and he lost sight of me and immediately stopped and was looking for me because "I need to protect him, he can't speak German".
In the end when we couldn't figure out a way to go home, we went home with roommate's sister, took the bus at like 4, was at her place at a little before 5, slept like one our and then got to borrow her car, drive to the stable and come back like 20 minutes before work, quickly change clothes and down a coffee each before going out and starting to feed and put straw in the stalls... So ye, quick summary of my night

That plan works for me, will try to get started on an Esther post but might fall asleep and then I do it tomorrow or something

This family is getting complicated now because Ollie and Del are also cousins. They just haven't met and realized that yet xD

I had to count, but Del got himself about 20+ cousins just from Ollie's side of the family, including all their wives/husbands and children. A few of them aren't alive though so I'll have to go back and recount later-

I was in the middle of this reply when my mom asked me to go somewhere with her so I had to finish it quickly, I'll be back later tonight though, and probaly write the rest of what I wanted to say-

It was definitely not what I had expected xD But it was so fun!
Funny thing was that I was like right next to him and my roommate when he stopped and was looking for me but dude was fucking tall, like yeah, I'm quite short but he was almost two heads taller and just looking around the crowd of people while I'm standing there and looking up at him trying to get his attention xD He was hella cool though so would be fun to see him again some day and I probably will, he really liked going to riders parties he said, even though he hates horses xD Which is even more funny considering that his family is quite big within the equestrian community

So I slept most of the car ride home heh but I'll try working on it tomorrow!

Damn... Del goes from being an orphan boy to getting a huge ass family xD

I'm back, and it was pretty fun! We had gone on a side-by side ride through the forests and stuff so it was pretty relaxing.
