Whew im not sure I have good advice either, I get very heated too and it usually involves me scream cussing at whatever or whoever, so what I do to try my best to avoid that is screaming as hard and delebrite as you can into a pillow, drawing while listening to music

So, there are a few things I look for in the RP when it comes to my lead characters looking for mates. It's not just "This character likes them, thats it" sort of thing. I look for activity, if the characters interact enough for conversations to lead somewhere, things like that (along with seeing how they work together)
