Stood with my new besties the farriers all morning today, yaaayy... I swear to god they hate me... But to be honest they were quite okay today, aka they weren't rude and mean as usual but far from nice, just kinda neutral, better than nothing I guess.

So, apart from the farriers the start of this week has been so good! Got a new jacket from the stable yesterday, that was nice (and needed, my old one was in such bad shape, turns out it's not so durable when you're dragged after a pony on a dirt road) and it's so fucking warm! Almost too warm, really cozy jacket overall. Riding has been quite good so far, the horsies have been nice and my Cornet that I ride was super stiff and heavy end of last week but today he was sooo much nicer so that felt good! Jumping tomorrow and I'm excited about that too!
Also ya know the guy I told you all about..? The 10 years older straight guy that I know it's stupid to like but I still do? Well, he's been so friendly the past few days and I think we're starting to become friends, or he's practically adopted me as a younger brother, I really don't know?? When he's not joking around and saying bullshit, he's very concerned with my health, yesterday he made me eat salad with my lunch, like he took one glance at my plate when I sat down, slammed the salad bowl down in front of me with a "You're welcome" and would not give up until I ate some (it was a very weird salad with orange slices in it??) and now today he "yelled" at me when I didn't finish my food, saying I need to eat more but the food wasn't that good today plus I was in a hurry to get back to the farriers and switch with the other groom holding the horse for them.
Then later when we were riding he told my boss that he thought he should take me and I should be his groom instead, then his biggest argument to me for why I should agree was "I have hair and he doesn't". He's a bit of a strange dude sometimes but I swear every interaction with him is just so funny xD

So I've been busy and stressed out... Chaos seems to be a constant here :) My boss got a new horse, a dressage horse supposed to become a hunter. He rode him once then woke up the next day and couldn't walk, turns out he has an extra piece of bone in his foot that has now all of a sudden caused an infection in his tendon and guess who for some reason had to ride the dressage horse because it couldn't just stand and Maria was still not back? Me! Does the horse have any energy forward? No. Does he not react to the leg at all? Not, barely even with spurs. Did I spend probably like 20 minutes being yelled at at the top of our trainers lungs while I had to jump the horse? Yup... Problem is he reminds me so much of my dad too, my dad who I don't have any relationship with anymore, and I swear I was so close to breaking down while he just kept yelling at me, think I almost had an anxiety attack at one point, could barely breath, air would just not go in.. Sooo that was fun!
