Here's the story: Kage died, Levushka did a ritual to bring her back with the help of Ghost. Levushka gets cursed due to bringing the law between life and death (that's how he got blind). Served under Goddess for a bit (who was pregnant with Ripper's baby at the time and becoming her bodyguard for the time being), and the two did somewhat hit it off. Bada bing, bada boom-they slept with each other, but two days later they broke it off when her heart was still into Ripper.

I mean, Jericho is in the car and Ava is getting ready to go, so why not? To twist the knife a little more, why not have the psycho be fascinated with Jericho and his Metalcraft ability (or something else about him)? He'd be squirming the entire car ride there.
