Update on Ivan (aka me complaining because I hate making character sheets), I'm finally done with everything but his personality which is what's hardest and most annoying to write TvT

I hate writing personalities, they're so much more frustrating to come up with than appearences

Normally I have a refrence picture for my appearences that I can just try to type into words, but for persoanlity I kinda just wing it and hope I don't go back and redo the whole thing after finishing

Exactly, with appearances you can figure out how you want the character looking and find references for that but with a personality you just have to come up with something that works for the character and try to make it sound good TvT

For personalitlies I start by listing down traits and then just kinda try to write a paragraph for each trait, which is probaly the easiest way I found to actually getting something decent

And I finally finished my sketch of younger Lucile-

I just kinda quickly shaded the rest of it, but I think it turned out pretty decent for my first attempt at a human in 4 months XD

Yeah, I'm not the best at blur shading, or really even shading in general, but I'm practicing! Maybe I'll go back and try shading it a few different ways to see which looks best ^^

maybe try block shading (I think this is what it is called) it is basically where instead of blurring the lines you just keep them straight and unblurred. I think it would look super good with your style! :D Also try avoiding using just black in both your lineart and shading and maybe the colors that fit better with your character's color palette

also I would love to buy commission whenever they are free but take your time to iron out your style!!
