I have been debating Smith but then I think Los campesinos' character would refer to him as Smith and I can't do that to him </3

How 'bout Shaw or Fitz? Respectively, they mean 'wood' (like a small forest), or 'son of'. Somethin' really short sounds like it might pair well.
