okay so question- if Chile were able to possess Cal, would he have his own powers or Cal's power? Does it depend one whether or not someone is an earthly (for what I am assuming comes from the body) or arcane type (which probably comes from the soul)?

Well, both types are from the soul- And good question, I'm not actually sure...

maybe Chile can use his abilities but it gives Cal negative side effects since his body is not used to literal antlers sprouting from his head and what not
