So, how does this game work in general? I don't have a specific question just want a overall view.

We have a limit of 300lbs to carry, right now we have ~200 of the currency, you have to buy things like food or weapons with the currency or trade an item roughly the same amount of money for something if you don't have money. This is a survival so you have to eat 2-3 times a day and try not to die. To see the effiency of what you do you roll a die, just search google dice roll or I will roll for you (It'll probably end up with me rolling for people just so we know people aren't lying.), for anything social like spreading rumors or romancing you roll a d20 and need anything above a 10 for it to work. Arrows = d5, daggers = d10, swords = d15, waraxes = d20. If you're over the weight limit you need to eat more, you do less damage and you become slower.

Cool! Sounds fun. So are there any other ways to gain currency?

Find treasure, sell things you find, steal, work, quests, anything really.

I can make an example, theres also a somewhat of an overview in the current events i posted in the signup thread. - Gamemaster: A shadowy figure stalks you from the corner of the room just out of sight. Player: I use my elven nightvision to brighten the room. -Gamemaster might roll dice to see how sucessful you are at noticing the figure- Player: I sense something otherworldly as if there is a pit in my stomach telling me something is off. As i turn around abrubtly to investigate it lashes out at me, i draw my sword and attempt to slash at it. -Dice roll for attack damage- Edited at January 27, 2024 04:14 PM by Noricai

Good to know, do you control the game with Night now? Noricai said: The Midnight Howlers said: So, how does this game work in general? I don't have a specific question just want a overall view.

Currently we have started a quest I like to call 'A Stone Etched Mystery.' We overheard two cat-folk talking about the landmarks and decided to go exploring in Arkin to find them. Once we get in its like those Dwemer Ruins from skyrim.

Id assume the gamemaster (nightwalker) will describe it to you whenever you enter an area or you can talk to npc's and interact with the world to discover things, so get creative and imagine you are actually living as your character :)
