I haven't thought up a cause for the snap, so if anybody has ideas as to what would make half the new pairs suddenly have evil alter egos, lemme know. XD

Maybe the stone used for the bonding ceremony was tampered with, causing evil forces to awaken and possibly corrupting the Snapped? It was just a random thought I had.

I like that idea. I was also thinking that - based off what I've seen from the beasts - that they be against getting bonded at first and the desire ta go against it could have transmitted through the bond? If that makes sense. Kinda like a despirate attempt ta go against the thing they were forced into?

Though, it would be interesting ta see a combination of the ideas. Like, if the stone was tampered with, their unwillingness ta bond could be an explanition as to why only those select beings snapped and others didn't? If there were others, anyway.
