Tracing is also an option. I have totally done that. Especially with cats; they're too liquid. |

@Yui Could instantly tell it was a cat! Awesome work. I would give advise, but I - in no way - can do good art. ^^' ~~~ @Mother Absolutly stunning! ~~~ At this point, I may just paper-pencil the heads of Onyx and Lumins. There's no way I can do a full body of either as of now. ^^' |

I do a lot of refences. However, I kinda mix them together. Like, I look at a photo of a real animal and take (let's say) it's body shape. I.e. the torse length, the legs' bulk, or just its pattern. Then, I'll look up another photo and specify it ta get exactly what I want. Totally did that with some of my dragon tails. |
