You can have him step in Aberrant Canines said: saratank said: Moros owner (not looking at username to spell correctly), please do not jump to the patrols finding nothing. You didn't give a chance for patrols to even leave camp properly.
Ok I apologize. I gave room for something to happen as Moros said they hadn't all returned. I agree though I shouldn't have rushed it. Hes just trying to get some time with Tala xD I really need to do something with my hunter Thalia. I don't know what to do with her yet.
Also, @Midnight Moon would you like Moros to jump in and help or should I leave more room for someone else to step in?

That's understandable. You could have always had him send the others ahead and him return too since he is a higher rank. XD

Y'all just brought rabies to the pre-vet student. XD Not sure how much these wolves will know, but rabies takes anywhere from 3-12 weeks before symptoms show up in animals, but rabies only becomes contagious once symptoms start showing. People most commonly associate foaming at the mouth with rabies, but the first things to show up are fever and headaches. Muscle spasms or seizures are also fairly common in mid-to late onset. Behavioral changes are not always violent; some animals get super lovey. Many animals will also develop hydrophobia. Animals that aren't showing symptoms haven't been known to pass the disease to the animal eating them, but once they start twitching and foaming, they're not safe to eat. Especially since wolves can't cook their food XD The gamma or someone could maybe mention watching for symptoms before bringing down prey; if there aren't symptoms, it's safe. Maybe there could be a patrol of just hunters that are only watching prey for signs and symptoms of rabies? That way they'd know which areas were affected and where to avoid hunting? Edit: It's about 90% fatal but these wolves do have superpowers so maybe it's not as fatal? Healing magic? Normal animals that survive are usually neurologically handicapped afterwards, though, since rabies attacks that system Edited at April 26, 2022 10:57 PM by Rising Shadows

Perhaps we can bring it to a 10% fatality to the PACK, BUT the loners remain at the 90% due to them being normal? ~ Thank you for the wonderful insight Rising!

Thank you for the amazing info. Part of it seeming so rushed on my end is that at first I was planning for something more mild, but changed my mind. I think they should definitely have a higher survival rate with all the healing powers in the pack. Like, if every healing-gifted wolf used their abilities on one infected wolf at a time, maybe it would be enough? And you're welcome! ^^ I looooove this kind of stuff.

Um, I need the rest of the scouts to come to join the group Duches has set up for a scouting patrol. I made a post a few pages back just in case you need a refresher on what Duches said to the scouts.
