I have a very strange habit of guessing implausibly corretly/close to correctly when given very little information. This kind of thing has happened oddly frequently in my life. IE, in one of my D&D sessions our dragonborn rouge attacked a hobgoblin with her Lightning Breath. Before the DM rolled the saving throw, I said that it'd be a nat 1 and the poor goblin would disintigrate. Lo and behold, it was in fact a 1. The DM counted nat 1s for saving throws as the equivalent of a critical hit, and the hobgoblin died to that one attack because of the power of the dice. I got to describe exactly how it died, and got an Inspiration point for it, too. |
