So me looking up what medieval people thought of the moon (to figure something out for my story) lead me to watch a video about telescopes watching a black-hole spaghettify a star.

should I run? I feel like that's the smart thing to do uh-

also I think gravity is time- Like- if you are in a spaceship in a blackholes event horizon, everything is going normal for you- you're stuck, and either you're still far enough away from the singularity that you won't get sucked in but you can't escape, or you can't escape and you're being sucked into the blackhole. But while this might just be a few minutes or hours for you, its like a thousand years for people outside of the blackholes event horizon- because gravity warps time-
My hypothesis is- that we could create a time machine using gravity-l like high gravity places have time move "faster" (normal for you but faster for people in lower gravity, and vice versa, people in lower gravity move and have time move slower than in your high gravity place) So if we were to put a person in a high gravity place for a year (for them) they could pop out a hundred years later and only age one year- I think that was tested on identical twins where one was younger than the other after spending a year in space or something-

Am I making sense? I feel like I'm not XD

And now I watched a star redshift as it passed in front of a Blackhole because why not-

I just looked at the twin study and there weren't any major differences- definitely not in aging >.> asdfghjkl But if the difference were extreme then it could work- maybe- sort of- just- I still haven't recovered from the sleep deprivation I think. Tonights gonna be a blast-

ohhhhoahohohoauhsegp[oauwehf I love this subject so much you have no idea I could talk about space time for h o u rs on end and I see what you're saying! I think I understand a solid three quarters of it(?) lmao, and that's interesting! I don't think gravity is time, but that's just my opinion. tbh they work very closely though so -

gravity definitly isn't time XD
I don't know what I was writing but- since I learned that time is slower by the event horizon of a black hole I've been like: what if the human/robot that sacrifices themselves to die by spaghettification Facetimes or video chats with Earth while they fall? XD
