Oooo. Like what? I'm totally interested, I feel like though he did hurt him - Akiho would still want to be friends or cordial even if it would be awkward (depending on how bad what was said) . And I think Akiho still possibly also harbors feelings for him and would've been satisfied with an apology . And he also still instinctively would jump near Ethan if he felt threatened. And he definitely would still wear his oversized jackets he has if he was stressed or upset. So some mixed feelings 🥲. Also Akiho is definitely not against poly as well.

Hmm, he could've said something out of rage (the day his family said something awful to Ethan), and Ethan misdirected his anger towards Akiho. It caused them to break up, and after days, Ethan feels guilt for what he did, but never will ever admit that.

I am oddly on board with this. Though I could see Ensei struggling with the aspect to a degree. He doesn't think highly of himself so he would struggle with the constant thoughts, worries, and jealousies that the other two prefer each other over him. So he might be better with just one or no one.

All three of them scream insecure towards themselves and it's sad. The conflicton amongst the three and the awkwardness poor Ethan would face with Akiho and Ensei would be insatiable. Their feelings being suppressed to not make the others uncomfortable too, like none of them would dare to ask one of them out for the fear of hurting the third.
