That fountain in the swamp will de-age any familiar you have following you. The wolves won't drink it so they make a companion drink it, and it ages them down. Which you have to have premium to have a companion.

I had a better idea(Or at least I think it's better-) and it's more simple-

Said character can talk to shadows(Only sentient shadows like Jaspers) and their own shadow is sentient. They're often seen as weird or at least unique. Their parents were quite overpertective, so when they got the letter that their child had been accepted they threw it away. Their shadow saw them throw it away though and brought it to them. They then ran away to The Meadow Blossom Rescue. And they'd come in late on the day of the Choosing Ceremony.

(I'm making this character now, and I was wondering if they could run into Heather/Thomas, and get to know them, or maybe just simply run into them and go on their way, if you guys don't want said character to run into them that's fine-)

And I was thinking they they might be able to talk to dragons whilst being their shadow, but as a dragons shadow they couldn't talk to humans, and when they're a humans shadow they can only speak to humans. I was thinking for there back story their parents didn't like that they could do this so they forbade them from talking to others, and they found there letter in the trash, and they ran away from home to Meadow Blossom Rescue, and would get there late (The day of the Choosing Ceremony)
