Oooo- Maybe whenever the night god allows the bitterness (or any negative emotion of any kind regarding her death) to get to him, some people will have nightmares because they are also feeling that emotion whenever they fell asleep? And the rest of people don't have dreams that night? Meanwhile whenever he's reminiscing happily about her, or just isn't letting the bitterness consume him, it's the opposite way around? - Oh, the way I was thinking it- Someone tricked the day god into killing the night god's sister. But honestly- The drama of the day god tricking their lover into killing his own sister is amazing. I'd say a practical joke that wasn't supposed to end in her death, as that lends itself into the day god seeking forgiveness much easier than jealousy and all.

oooooo yes! I love that idea!! definitely stealing that yeah the drama from it will be amazing and I am so excited for what will happen when warlocks from the two gods are forced to deal with their gods when the queen calls them into action ooo like- okay what if both gods loved eachother almost as much as they loved pulling pranks on each other and the day god had the idea of blindfolding his partner and somehow convincing him to throw a discus/shoot a bow and arrow/do something to strike a bird without killing it to worry the wind/music Goddess. In actuality, the day god pointed his lover in the direction of his sister, hoping the night god would strike one of her paint pots and ruin her mural and evoke her sibling-rage. Instead, when his sister went over to get paint to continue on her mural, the night god happened to strike her instead.

May I say- Warlocks are usually ones that struck a pact with eldritch monsters, so there's that. Honestly, just imagining the Wizards/Alchemists learning magic, the Sorcerers/Magic-Borne being born with magic, and Warlocks with their pacts is amazing. If you wanted to do eldritch monsters with the Warlocks and then have a different type of magic users that deal with the gods/goddesses, you could call them Champions or Magic-Blessed. But yes, the drama of the ones that deal with those two will be hilarious. - Ooooo, I love that idea. Another fun thing that I love with mythology is how the deities tend to have personalities that fit what they're the deity of. So the night god and the day god both being huge pranksters? I love it. Something that people tend to skimp over is all the mischief at night and the playfulness in day. So having them both be pranksters is like a little nod towards how much fun you can have during both. Like in the old cartoon short with the day and night trying to show off to the other and show that they're better before seeing sunrise/sunset and deciding neither is better than the other.

well- I intend the knowledge deity to be less of a deity and more of an eldritch being because of the madness and potential of overwhelming knowledge so there is the potential for something that is a more traditional warlock. I also want them to appear (to those who have the constitution and sanity to see them) as a glowing being with many black holes that act as mouths (while most knowledge creatures have lots of eyes in media, I feel like if it already knows everything, there is no point in it having eyes if it already sees all) awww I love that cartoon! i also totally get what you're saying and it's sad how rare this really is! I feel like so many gods rarely embody what they stand for so I guess I like to do that a little. man, I really want to tell you about the love deity but telling you about her might spoil parts of her characters/the whole plot

Honestly- I love that idea. I've always subscribed to the idea of knowledge and insanity being at least somewhat intertwined, so I approve of this. How many of each type of magic user do you think you'll have? - Glad to know we see eye to eye on that bit lol And relieved that you knew which cartoon I was talking about ha Greek mythology is actually fairly good at having their deities embody what they are. Kings abuse power, Zeus is a King. Death doesn't discriminate in who gets taken away, Hades takes a daughter from her mother. Hera, the goddess of Marriage, never cheats on Zeus. Artemis, of the Hunt and Night/Moon, is actually rather wild and mischievous. And so on. Well, I mean- The whole plot? Great. I can already start theorizing just based off that hesitance lmao

ooo you should definitely check out bloodborne or at least the lore videos- I think I will start with four of each type just so then plenty of people can join huh. I never thought about it all like that if I am honest. honestly, that makes a lot of sense really! I never understood why Zeus was the way he was or why Hera stayed in her marriage but it makes sense. Zeus is the king of gods not the good king of gods and Hers is the goddess of marriage not the goddess of a healthy marriage. wait- no- don't do that please- I am still working on the plot I don't need you figuring out what little I know so far!
