I forgot to ask- uhhh so, I wanted to do a story where it was centered around several characters from different magic groups-- warlocks (people who get their magic from gods), magic-gifted (those born with magical abilities based on a combination of their parents' abilities), and alchemists (people who use symbols, incantations, and potions to use magic)-- who are some of the most well known and strongest of their types. they have been called to the Queen after several crisises following the mysterious event that most call the nail where a giant pillar fell from the sky, pinning what seems to be a comatized god under it. these specialists are tasked with helping the Queen uncover what the nail is, where it came from, and if it was connected with the crisises that followed after. thoughts?? :D

I mean, I would totally join. Definitely sounds interesting Definitely keep me posted lmao Warlocks (from pacts with gods, like uh- warlocks from DnD lol), Magic-Gifted's (basically a sorcerer from DnD), and Alchemists (basically wizards from DnD) Very fun.

hey I need your help making the mythology for something and I need your expert and mythology-loving advice so the ocean/deep sea/night god and the earth/plant/day god were a couple right? They were both deeply in love when something happened that left the night god bitter and angry while the day god is seeking forgiveness but not does not want to upset the night god further so he stays away from him. problem is, I don't know what that something would be. :/

Most of the time in mythology, that something is cheating. Or killing a relative. Usually, if the one that did it is seeking forgiveness but doesn't want to upset the other- You can bet on it being a sort of... "Someone tricked them into killing someone important to/cheating on the other" situation. - One such example is Baldr's Death within the Poetic and Prose Eddas. Baldr's blind brother, Hodr, is tricked by Loki into killing Baldr. It's a bit different since it's one brother being tricked by their uncle into killing their brother. But overall, that tends to be a good way to go about what your something could be. - Hope all that helps!

ooooo that's such a good idea! man, I loved the story about the death of Baldr why didn't I think of that? I think I want him to kill the goddess of art, creativity, and murals but then she is able to live on in her brother's night (aka dreams) of mortals.

Haha, great- Glad I could help I like that idea a lot too, dreams being the fragments/remnants of his sister is honestly such a good idea. What would nightmares be? His anger and bitterness twisting up with those fragments/remnants?

ooooo maybe! for the most part, the night god is actually really positive and a bit of a well-meaning jokester but I am sure the bitterness would get to him about the death every now and again. do you think the day god would trick the night god as a practical joke that ended poorly or maybe jealousy that his partner was not spending as much time time with him and more time with his sibling?
