Money how does it work what are the currencies Will you be posting more "gamemaster" posts to describe the world around the characters as they play? Such as social diffrences between species, what they rolled on the dice, npc reactions, what your character is feeling as they interact with certian things, and invintory?

So many things! Currency; Gold coins are the main currency, all of you have ~200c (c=coins) but you can also trade something of roughly equal value for something if you are out of coins like a wilt poison for a limpness potion (Theres a difference I swear lol). Game Master; I will be posting for NPCs, My character Oolga and I'll try to log on every wednesday to do an event or something interesting or just an update. The Dice; I should probably make a dice sheet soon- but for now you roll a d20 for everything and if its something social like romance then you have to score 10+ for it to work, if its damage the roll of a d20 would tell you how much damage you do but it differs with your weapons. ("I attempt striking the dweller with my dagger!" They'll roll a d10 and they hit a 6, they do 6 hit points out of 70.) Interactions and characters; People choose how their character interact with things, they won't have to roll for a reaction since that doesn't make sense but if they roll for a romance on a merchant then they could either get a lower price for an item of their choosing depend of their roll or they might loose 10 hit points lol. Inventory; You can carry 300 pounds, I'll tell you when your maxed. If you're weight is maxed then attack does 50% less and you become slower and need more things to consume. Warlocks or Mages can cast a strength spell for 3-5 replies and then it wares off, same thing with potions.

OO for things like advantages and disadvantages will you be taking them into consideration for things like dice rolls so say cold would be like -1 if the character is cold and they need to do a roll or attractive would be +1 when doing a roll that relates to the attribute?

Yeah! If they're in a place they thrive they can roll a d5 for example if a combat shoots an arrow and they're in a quiet place and they focus better in quiet places they could roll a 4 and then roll and extra 3 so they hit for 7 hit points instead of the maximum 5 and also an archer could really do some damage if they use this- archer rolls 4, gets an extra 3 and then an extra roll of 2 for skill and they would hit for a whopping 9 hit points which is almost max dagger damage! Tonneoshet i think d means damage so like d5 means damage 5(sucess/hit points) and a roll as in litteraly rolling a dice, the number it lands on is added to the "d5". Edited at January 27, 2024 02:29 AM by Noricai
