I had to map it out on a paper lmao, but I think the pup's father is technically the mother's half uncle so I was close

If they don't I'm actually gonna be a little mad. I wanted to preserve Ofa's bloodline, but not like this. XD

@Forest
Yeah, maybe I should leave it be for now, lol. My head's hurting just thinking about it.

I -think- it's a half aunt x half nephew pairing then??? This is too much thinking for my brain to handle so I could be wrong

I feel you though with the accidental IB. Happened to me more than a few times. Gotta cross your fingers and pray the pups suck

No, no! I misworded that! Ofa is the father's father, but the mother's grandfather. Technically I bred... a niece and nephew? I don't even know.

Nevermind, I think I misread your message

So if you bred the grandfather to the granddaughter, then genetically he's still just the pup's father I think
 Enigma

@Petri
OH LMAO I see. Then uh, the pups would be uncles and aunts to the mother at the same time as her kids xD

So, the sire's father is named Ofa, and he's the dam's grandfather. I didn't realize until after I bred them, so he would be a half great grandpa, half grandpa, right?

Do you think you could link the wolf? I'm getting confused myself :,)
 Enigma
05:24:34
@Petri
Pup <- Father <- Grandfather
Father = Sire of pup
Father <- Father of father = grandfather

Or are you talking about the grandfather breeding with the daughter of his son

@Forest

So he would be their paternal great grandpa and maternal grandpa?
 Forest Dwelling
05:21:49 I am on Wolflocke ok
If you wanna get fancy with terminology, your grandfather on your dad's side of the tree is your paternal grandpa

@Enigma

I dunno, maybe?? I was confused because he would be their grandpa AND great grandpa, but I was doubting if that was actually the case. :')

Ok I'm not the best at humans but I am a lot better than what I was five months ago lol
I would start off with looking at references and trying to copy them while creating your own style. Look at the details, study them. You can even take pictures of yourself and draw it. Also don't forget proportions! Those are important!! Look to see where our eyes or nose and such should go. Our eyes don't sit at the top of our forehead! They are actually quite inline with the top of our ears! And our nose is inline with the bottom of our ears! Try drawing your face first, see where things connect.

I'd say a lot of practice! Just sketches, even if they might not look so good in your own eyes, is essential! Not starting off with entire full-fletched pieces before getting a general idea of proportion -
And also, look at others' art styles! It helps verrrry much with knowing how to draw certain parts, and you can take small things from every artist you see and incorporate it into your art :D I only started drawing humans a year or two ago but I feel like this has helped me the most! And also watching shorter tutorials about proportions I've gotten on my recommended c:
.
TLDR: Don't be afraid to make "bad" stuff, so to speak. After every single sketch you do you improve a tiiiiny bit :3

Oh yes, another good tip is to think of the face as a bent sheet of paper. Much easier to do angles that way c:

Line of action is also an incredible resource for studies!
They have an entire gallery dedicated to humans. You can adjust your preferences such as gender of models, ages, etc. (big note, they have nude models. This can be turned off before hand when you set your preferences if that makes you uncomfortable.) and if I remember correctly you can even set it to be a timer, where it will switch images from 10 seconds up to 10 minutes (or a custom time!).
I used this when trying to do more specific anatomy studies. 🩷
