Voting other because completing quests is one of my favorite things in any game but all of my quests have only ever been in Forest so I think I've only actually completed less than 10 because I wanted to be exploring different places. So I do semi-try to complete them but it's more of a secondary objective

I only complete quests as they come along, and that's pretty seldom, so I think an update would be great. I don't breed for looks so the breeding ones hang around for a very long time and I'd welcome the possibility of just not choosing that category. All my quests are currently in the swamp which isn't an area I explore very much unless there's a specific reason. It might be nice if you could pick the territory for hunt and battle quests and then it would come up with a random prey/opponent there.

I think that the main problem is that there isn't much of an incentive to complete quests. If the average player is not able to complete the quests given to them, then there is no reason for them to even attempt to complete them. The rewards are paltry in comparison to the amount of resources one must invest in exploring to complete said quests, and often they just aren't realistic to finish. For example, quests given in the swamp are going to be more difficult for players with unestablished explore packs. And breeder quests are usually out of the way and, as many players say, happens when it happens. A remedy for this could be boosts or upgrades given to the player upon completing quests, maybe some milestone quests that give significant boons. I am a huge explore fanatic, and I believe this would draw more players to explore as after all it is a core mechanic of Wolf Play!

Maybe difficult tiers so all types of players could enjoy it. Also the ability to skip quests would be nice to avoid getting stuck unable to find an item. I love the idea of killing big enemies (bears) and receiving a nice reward for it. Maybe one big quest every week worth more? They happen when they happen. I find the limited options can make it easy to get stuck on them. Add On Edit: Would be really neat to include quests as part of Slim's job since the guy is honestly the most useless NPC I think. It would make sense in my opinion. Slim desperately needs a refresh update. Let us take on quests (could have permanent and/or limited time ones that reset everyday/week), complete them for a Slim-specific currency (rocks? fish?? what do bears like lol), let us buy stuff like Bidoo's shop does. It gives NPCs more purpose if we have something to gain from interacting with them. ^ agreeing with this. A weekly quest generation could be a fun solution to that issue as well, especially since not all packs explore or breed and can end up with 3 quests they can't complete, and lose interest. Quest rewards will probably also have to be altered, as battling 30 sun bears in jungle for a 10-50mush reward is not something I'd activley go out of my way to do (since a pack of 6 could take my explore team out lol.) I think a this or that approach might be a good idea as an alternative option, for those very specific quest as long as they're of equal difficulty. Ie, Find painted pottery shards OR pottery shards Breed for a brindle OR leopard marking Battle x bengal tigers OR x sun bears Addiontally, quest for earning currency (bone shards, event currency, earning x amout of mush from explore or sales), explore encounters (scaring off the birdman or helping the bear cub in forest x times), crafting items, playing mini games (beat the beetle game x times), PvP/Alliance/Faction related ones or donating wishbones/hidden falls items etc would be nice. 🤠 Edited at July 31, 2024 02:49 AM by Eno
