Do y'all ever wonder if homophobic people are actually gay but just using the disrespect and cruelty towards gay people to cover up their own secret gayness??

Sweet: As of right now, as I am typing this, no >.<
Stalker: Shush :D
Crescents: Sometimes that is the reason that makes sense, but you also have to respect that some people are considered homophobic because of their religion that they believe in or just other personal beliefs, ya know? Or it's like how they're 'scared of gay people' cause homophobia sounds like you have a fear of gay people. I don't know lmao

Corpse You make a fair point. My fam is Christian and my parents grew up in very homophobic homes but since then, being, well, not straight or being nonbinary, trans, etc has seemed to become more accepted and i've just kind of grown up not caring whether a person is gay or trans or whatever it is despite my parents. But then again, maybe you're right and they are scared 👀

Crescents: Yeah, plus all of the LGBTQIA+ stuff is a lot more common than it was like 10 years ago. I've always accepted it and learned that it really shouldn't define you as a person and should never be made a big deal as it really is just a smaller part of your life, and people only ever tend to bring it up unless the person who is a part of the community does (in my experience, could be different :P). I believe that sometimes they are scared lmao

Corpses Indeed. A lot of people think its a personality trait but its really not lol. Most people arent even openly gay unless they date a person of the same gender. Its the same thing here with the tending to not bring it up unless its brought up by the person whos actually apart of the community
