Okay this has been fun and all, but I really don't think you know what a wolf is. They don't kill people on their own - they are only brave enough to do so with a pack. They AREN'T defended by the government; you can shoot them out of Yellowstone. They can't kill bison or elk unless they're half dead or are with an enormous group (gentle reminder that enormous wolf packs die out extremely quickly from starvation, disease, and wolf fights).
Wolves eat their dead. If a wolf dies, the others eat it. Yeah. They def have a "strong bond" when they can eat each other without second thought. Cats are actually proven by science to have higher intelligence than canines. It doesn't matter that they can't take down large prey - they can at least survive beyond 8 in the wild. It doesn't matter that they lack bonds - they won't get slaughtered by their own kind for eating before their higher-ups.
