They're points to build up character attributes on your wolves. It's recommended to start with 1. Luck and perception for finding items and mushrooms in explore 2. Resolve, for accuracy of landing hits in battles, and battle for damage 2a. Agility, for dodging hits. Resolve and battle are more helpful to begin with though. 3. Stealth to have a better chance of coming across prey The others are for various encounters in explore. Maternal is for females and determines how many more pups they're likely to have and charisma is for the same thing but on males
Dominance - Pack Happiness, Chasing Packs, chasing off the bird watcher
Stealth - Finding prey, Tracking prey on scent trails Perception - Discovering things while exploring Luck - Discovering things while exploring Maternal - Number of pups born as applied to females Social - Befriending familiars Empathy - Healing animals Morals - Fixing the Beaver Dam Resolve - Offensive battle ability, accuracy Composure - Raiding the Farmhouse Wisdom - Discovering things while exploring, Identifying prey on scent trails, avoiding quicksand Battle - Offensive battle ability, damage Charisma - Number of pups born as applied to males Agility - Defensive battle ability, avoiding hits/dodging. Fishing Spirituality - Discovering things while exploring, plays into the temple in explore Edited at March 19, 2018 07:35 PM by Destinations End

Basically what they do is they make the wolf better kinda. Like dominance, when you find a pack in your territory the dominance with help successfully chase the pack. Battle, I think that just makes them battle are PVP's I'm not for sure.

Also if you want to fight other packs for the bonus of only having to wait 30 minutes instead of 1 hours to explore then you will want to level up your battle and all the things like that, and if you dont then you will do less damage, and you will also most likely keep missing hits on the other wolf, so be sure to level up thsoe types of things on the wolfs that you will be using to fight other packs in battle, so always remember to use those CP!

Play points are a premium feature. Per the game guide: Play When returning from a hunt, your hunting party joyfully greets the pack. They will have an option to play with pack members and have a random chance at earning Play Points. Each time your wolf earns 25 play points they can redeem them for Character Points. There are 6 different play options and your wolves will unlock them as they gather play points. For each 25 play points they earn they will go up a level and earn a new Play option. In order to be able to play, you must use up all of your explore moves. If your wolves abandon the hunt from injury/hunger/thirst/etc it won't count.
Your wolves Playfulness stat ties into this. The higher their stat the more likely they will play instead of laying down.
