So, my friend made icons for me and her to use for our accounts. She posted the picture on the site that was recommended and credited the photographers and artists who made the pictures she used. The pictures were up for about 3 days, until it was taken down with a message in its place saying that it didn't follow the rules. This is what happened with all the pictures she put together.
It doesn't make sense to me, because I saw her post the picture and credit everyone. Help??

If they were removed the photographs your friend used were most likely either improperly credited, weren't stock and/or didn't follow the rules the owners of the photos have.
It's hard to say exactly why without seeing the avatars in question

Ok thank you. Is there any way to save this? Or do we have to start over?

If they weren't stock, they can't be used at all. If it's a matter of not crediting correctly they can if the right credits are added. If your friend didn't follow the rules of the rightful owner of the photos(still must be stock), then no, not unless they're remade so they do follow the requirements.
It depends on what was used and what rules from this site weren't followed to whether you could or not

Ok, I think I'm just going to start over. Is there a specific way to credit? Or can you just say something like "Icon made by _____" in your bio.

It's best to put the credits on the avatar itself, as credits being put in the bio will result in the avatar being reset later if taken out of your bio. Use the copyright sign followed by the credits.
Also it'd be a good idea to read over the art and avatar rules and requirements so you know what is and isn't allowed and such Edited at April 6, 2017 01:56 PM by Destinations End
