3 Things; 1. I have a quest to defeat 5 badgers - it says I'm at 1/5 but I've defeated way more than that. Is it because the familiar is killing them and not my wolves? 2. What determines how many predators are on the map when you start? My first six levels, I was managing to buy chinese pottery and build up the mush again for it in those 20 moves - now it's ages before I run into prey/predators and I'm finding extra moves a waste... 3. Do only kills count for levelling a wolf's battle moves? My newest wolf has been exploring for ages and hasn't levelled up. Thanks for any help! :)

1. Yes, that is most likely the reason. I'm not an expert with familiars as I didn't really use them when I had them. But yes, try killing the badgers with your wolves and not familiars. 2. Last I checked there really isn't anything determining how many predators are on a level. They are usually random and prey depend on the season. Obviously they are harder to find in winter and fall but easier to find in summer and spring. 3. Yes, to earn BE(Battle Experience) the wolf has to kill something. If you have four wolves, only the wolf who kills the prey/predator gets the BE
